Frequently Asked Questions

Answers before you book

Is the first consultation really free?

Yes, and it does not commit you to treatment. You will spend around thirty minutes with a licensed medical professional going through your goals and history, and you leave with a written plan whether or not you go ahead.

Do I need insurance or a referral?

Neither. We do not bill insurance, so nothing here depends on your plan’s coverage rules, and you do not need a referral from another provider to book.

Will I be pressured to decide on the day?

No. There is no same-day-only pricing here. You leave with a written plan and are welcome to take it away and think about it.

What should I bring to my first visit?

A rough sense of what you would like to change, and any recent lab results if you happen to have them. Neither is required. Arrive a few minutes early if there are forms to complete.

Can I bring someone with me?

Of course. Plenty of people bring a partner or a friend to a first consultation.

Who will I actually see?

A licensed medical professional, not a sales coordinator. Our team includes Nurse Practitioner Lindsay Short and Dr. Nezar Dahdal, and treatment plans are physician supervised throughout.

Do you treat men as well as women?

Yes. Most of our patients are women, but we treat men across weight loss, hormone therapy, peptides, laser and aesthetics, men’s hormone optimization and testosterone therapy in particular.

How long is the wait for an appointment?

Usually within the same week for a consultation. If you are waiting on a treatment plan or a medication refill and have not heard back, please call us rather than waiting. That is the thing we most want to hear about.

What happens after the consultation?

You leave with a written plan: what is recommended, roughly how long it takes, and what it costs. If you go ahead, the plan is reviewed and adjusted as your results change.
