Lindsay is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner with a passion for weight loss, aesthetics, and hormone management medicine. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry at UCLA and a Master of Science in Nursing at Columbia University. Lindsay began her career as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner in ICU, Trauma, and Neurosurgery — an environment that shaped her detail-oriented, evidence-led approach to patient care.
She has many years of injectables experience and is well versed with neurotoxins and dermal fillers across all major product lines.

Medical wellness includes medical weight loss with GLP-1 medications, hormone replacement therapy, peptide therapy, and PRP therapy. Aesthetic services include Botox and other neurotoxins, dermal fillers, CoolSculpting, skin tightening with Agnes RF, laser treatments, and medical-grade skincare.
Who oversees treatments at the clinic?
Treatments are led by Lindsay Short, a board-certified Nurse Practitioner with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from UCLA and a Master of Science in Nursing from Columbia University. The clinic is owned and physician-supervised by Dr. Nezar Dahdal, MD, board certified in Internal Medicine.
Do I need insurance to be a patient?
No insurance is required. All consultations and treatments are private-pay. We accept major credit cards and offer financing through Cherry, CareCredit, and Alle.
How does the free consultation work?

Am I a candidate for medical weight loss?
Most adults with weight-management goals are candidates. Our provider evaluates your BMI, medical history, hormones and thyroid function, then recommends a combination of medications, injections, and lifestyle support.

What is GLP-1 and how does Semaglutide help with weight loss?
GLP-1 (glucagon-like peptide-1) is a hormone that regulates appetite and blood sugar. Semaglutide is a GLP-1 receptor agonist medication that mimics this hormone, helping you feel full longer, reducing cravings, and slowing how quickly your stomach empties. Patients on medically supervised GLP-1 programs typically see significant, sustained weight loss when paired with nutrition guidance and lifestyle support.
How much weight can I expect to lose?
Results vary by patient, starting weight, medical history, and adherence to the plan. In clinical trials of GLP-1 medications, patients often lost 12–15% of body weight over 12 months. How long do Botox and dermal filler results last?

Is CoolSculpting permanent?
CoolSculpting permanently destroys treated fat cells through controlled cooling, and your body naturally eliminates them over 1–3 months. Results in treated areas are long-lasting as long as you maintain a stable weight. Most patients see 20–25% fat reduction in the treated area after one session.
Is hormone replacement therapy safe?
For appropriately screened patients, bioidentical hormone replacement therapy is considered safe and effective when monitored by a qualified medical provider. Before starting HRT, we run comprehensive lab work, review your full medical history, and discuss benefits and risks. Treatment is personalized to your specific hormone levels and adjusted based on follow-up labs.
Do you offer financing for treatments?
Yes. We accept Cherry and CareCredit for medical and aesthetic financing — both offer flexible monthly payment plans, often with 0% promotional APR.
