Juvederm, and what we actually stock
We do not keep Juvederm on the shelf. We will order Ultra or Ultra Plus for your appointment if you want it, and for most people the Restylane range we do stock does the same job for the same money.

Said plainly, before anything else
Juvederm is not held in our stock. Our shelf carries the Restylane range and Sculptra. If you specifically want Juvederm Ultra or Ultra Plus, we will order it in for your appointment, ask at the consultation and we will arrange it.
- Stocked here
- Restylane Kysse, Lyft, Contour, Refyne, Defyne · Sculptra
- Juvederm
- Ordered on request, quoted per syringe
- What that means practically
- Tell us when you book, not on the day
- Is the alternative worse?
- No, same material, same reversibility, same price band
We put that at the top rather than in an FAQ because the alternative is a page that collects bookings on an assumption. If you have driven in expecting a specific product, finding out at the chair is our failure, not yours.
What Juvederm is

A range of hyaluronic acid fillers made by Allergan, and the most recognized filler brand in the world, which is most of why it is the one people ask for by name.
Hyaluronic acid is a sugar molecule your body already produces. Injected as a cross-linked gel it adds volume where volume has been lost, and it can be dissolved again with an enzyme if you do not like the result. That reversibility is the defining property of this whole category and it is shared across every brand in it.
The range covers the same ground as Restylane’s: thicker gels for cheeks and jawline where structure is the job, softer ones for lips and fine lines where movement matters more than lift.
Juvederm or Restylane, an honest comparison
This is the question the page exists to answer, so here it is without a thumb on the scale.
| Juvederm | Restylane | |
|---|---|---|
| Material | Hyaluronic acid | Hyaluronic acid |
| Reversible | Yes, with Hylenex | Yes, with Hylenex |
| Typical duration | 6–18 months by product and area | 6–18 months by product and area |
| Feel | Smoother, more cohesive gel | Slightly firmer, holds structure |
| Availability here | On request | Immediate |
The row that matters least is “feel”, and it is the one marketing spends most on. Between two products aimed at the same area, the difference is smaller than the difference between two injectors, and in a blinded comparison most patients could not say which they had.
When we would order Juvederm for you: if you have had it before, liked the result, and would rather not change something that worked. That is a good reason and we will not talk you out of it.
When we would suggest the stocked equivalent: if you are choosing on brand recognition alone. You would be paying the same money and waiting for an order to arrive, for a product that does the same job.
Choosing by area rather than by brand
The more useful decision is not which brand but which part of your face is actually creating what bothers you, and it is frequently not the part people point at.
The line running from nose to mouth is the clearest example. It is very often the consequence of a cheek that has lost volume above it, which means filling the crease directly treats a symptom while the cause keeps producing it. Supporting the cheek costs the same or more, so this is not an upsell; it is the difference between a result that holds and one that does not.
Under-eye hollows are the other case, and the one we decline most often. Where the darkness is genuine volume loss, filler helps. Where it is pigment or a shadow cast by a flattened cheek, filling the trough will not fix it and can look puffy. We will say which you have.
The dermal fillers page covers pricing across the whole range, and the Restylane page maps each product to the area it suits.
Book your free consultationAnswers before you book
Do you have Juvederm in stock?
No. We keep the Restylane range and Sculptra on the shelf. Juvederm Ultra or Ultra Plus can be ordered for your appointment if you specifically want it, ask at your consultation and we will arrange it. We would rather say that on this page than let you book expecting it.
How much would Juvederm cost?
Quoted per syringe and ordered in for your appointment. It sits in the same band as the firmer end of our stocked Restylane range, so choosing it is a preference rather than a premium decision.
Is Juvederm better than Restylane?
No, and anyone telling you otherwise is expressing a preference as though it were a fact. Both are hyaluronic acid, both are made by large manufacturers with long safety records, both come in a range of thicknesses for different areas, and both are reversible. Injector skill and product placement account for far more of your result than which of these two boxes it came from.
Then why do people ask for Juvederm specifically?
Usually because it is the name they know. It is the most recognized filler brand and the most advertised. Sometimes because they have had it before and liked the result, which is a genuinely good reason to continue with it. Both are legitimate; only one of them requires the specific product.
What is the difference in feel?
Juvederm gels are generally described as smoother and slightly more cohesive, Restylane as slightly firmer and more granular in the way it holds structure. In practice the difference between two products aimed at the same area is smaller than the difference between two injectors, and most patients cannot identify which they received.
Can I switch from Juvederm to Restylane?
Yes, and there is nothing to manage. You do not need to wait for existing filler to dissolve, and the two coexist without issue. We would look at what you have had, where, and how long ago, then plan from there.
Is Juvederm reversible?
Yes. It is hyaluronic acid, so Hylenex dissolves it exactly as it does Restylane. That is a separate short appointment. It is one of the reasons the choice between these two brands is genuinely low-stakes.
How long does it last?
Six to eighteen months depending on the specific product and where it is placed, the same broad range as Restylane. Lips run shorter than cheeks in both brands because the tissue moves constantly.
Ask before you travel
If Juvederm specifically is what you want, say so when you book and we will arrange it for your appointment. If you are open to the equivalent, the consultation covers which product suits the area you actually want treated.
