Targets crepey skin, fine lines, and small under-eye fat pockets that contribute to puffiness. Typically 1 to 2 sessions. Swelling lasts 2 to 3 days; most patients work from home for 1 to 2 days post-treatment. This is one of the most-requested Agnes treatments in our Mission Viejo clinic.
Jowls and jawline Agnes RF
Best for early to moderate jowl laxity. 2 to 3 sessions, 4 to 6 weeks apart. We often pair the final result with low-dose masseter Botox or a small filler refresh at month 3 once the collagen build is visible.
Neck Agnes RF
Crepey neck skin and early laxity respond well; severe platysmal banding usually does not. 2 to 3 sessions. Downtime 5 to 7 days for the most visible redness.
Agnes RF for acne
Targets the sebaceous glands themselves to reduce oil production and chronic inflammation. 2 to 3 sessions, 4 weeks apart. Most appropriate for cystic and oil-heavy acne unresponsive to topicals.
Perioral lines
Smoker’s lines and lip-frame texture. 2 sessions. We coordinate timing around any lip filler or neuromodulator already in your plan.

Yes. Free surface parking adjacent to the building. No structure or paid garage. There is a covered drop-off if a friend is driving you home after under-eye work and you would rather wait inside.
How long is the drive from Irvine or Newport Beach for Agnes RF in Mission Viejo?
Off-peak, 15 to 20 minutes from Irvine and 20 to 25 minutes from Newport Beach via the 5 south or the 73 toll road. Weekday afternoons add 10 to 15 minutes. Patients usually combine Agnes sessions with other appointments to make the trip count.
What hours do you offer Agnes RF appointments?
We schedule Agnes treatments Monday through Saturday with morning and afternoon blocks. Same-week appointments are usually available for established patients; new-patient consultations are booked 5 to 10 days out.
Can I get Agnes RF and Botox or filler in the same visit?
We usually separate them by 2 weeks so each treatment can settle and so we can judge the result of each cleanly. We will sequence them at consultation.
Do you offer Agnes RF for darker skin types?
Yes. The insulated-needle design has a lower post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation risk than non-insulated RF, which makes Agnes one of our preferred tools for Fitzpatrick IV-VI patients when used at appropriate settings.

Why results build slowly, and what that timeline actually is
Radiofrequency microneedling works in two stages, and only one of them is visible early. The first is immediate: heat delivered into the target tissue causes existing collagen to contract, which is why some tightening can be apparent within days. The second is the one that matters more, and it is slow — the controlled injury triggers new collagen and elastin production, and that remodelling continues over weeks.
This is why the area can look worse before it looks better. Swelling in the first few days is part of the response, not a complication, and it can mask the change you are waiting for. Judging the result at one week tells you almost nothing about where it lands.
It also explains why a course usually beats a single session. Each treatment adds another round of remodelling on top of the previous one, and the interval between them is set so the tissue has finished responding before it is asked to respond again. Sun protection between sessions is not optional advice — ultraviolet exposure degrades the collagen you are paying to build. Your provider will confirm the number of sessions and the spacing after examining the area, because both depend on skin quality and the degree of laxity being treated.
