Choose your group and register. The front desk calls to confirm your place, take the entry fee and book all five of your scans in one call.
Week 0: baseline scan and kickoff
Your first InBody scan in the week of January 4, and a kickoff session with Lindsay Short, NP-BC on protein, strength training and what the scan measures.
Weeks 2, 4 and 6: progress scans
A scan every two weeks, with your report explained, plus a check-in text each week and a private group chat for the round.
Week 8: final scan and results
Your last scan in the week of March 1. The winner in each of the four groups wins treatment credit, and everyone leaves with eight weeks of data on their own body.
Four groups, so you compete with people like you
Bodies change differently with age and between women and men, so the challenge runs four groups, each with its own leaderboard and its own winner:
- Women under 45
- Women 45 and over
- Men under 45
- Men 45 and over
Your group is set by your age on January 4, 2027. Choose the one that fits you when you register.
How it is scored
Your score combines two changes between your first and last scans: the drop in your body fat percentage and the gain in your skeletal muscle mass. Pounds on a scale do not count. Someone who loses no weight at all can win by trading fat for muscle, which is the point.
Every scan uses the same InBody 580 and the same conditions, so the comparison is fair: come hydrated, skip a big meal and hard exercise in the hours before, and use the bathroom first.

Check with us first
The InBody passes a small electrical current through the body, so it is not used for anyone with a pacemaker or other implanted electronic device, or during pregnancy. The challenge is for adults 18 and over. If you have a history of an eating disorder, talk to Lindsay before you sign up.
Your results stay yours
Your scans are part of your record at the clinic and nobody else sees them. The leaderboard shows a first name and last initial, and only for people who agree to it in writing. No photo, video or number is ever posted without your written permission.

Answers before you book
What does it cost to enter?
The front desk gives you the entry fee when they call to confirm your place. It covers all five scans, the kickoff session, the guide and the weekly check-ins.
Do I need to be a patient already?
No. The challenge is open to anyone 18 or older. Your first scan is your baseline, and nothing else is required to take part.
Is this a weight loss contest?
No. The scale is not used for scoring at all. Your score comes from the drop in your body fat percentage and the gain in your skeletal muscle mass, so eating more protein and lifting is rewarded and crash dieting is not.
Can I take part while on a GLP-1 medication?
Yes. Protecting muscle matters most when weight is coming off quickly, and the scans show whether what you are losing is fat or muscle.
What if I miss a scan week?
Let the front desk know and we will fit you in as close to that week as we can. The first and last scans count for scoring, so those two weeks matter most.
Will anyone see my results?
Only you and the clinic. The leaderboard shows a first name and last initial, and only for people who agree to it in writing. We never post a scan, a photo or a number without your written permission.
What are the prizes?
The winner of each of the four groups wins treatment credit at the clinic. The amount is announced before the kickoff.
Will there be more rounds?
Yes, we plan further rounds through the year. Register for this round below, or call us and we will tell you when the next one opens.
