What the program involves

Every plan starts with an assessment by a licensed medical professional: your history, your goals, any medications you take, and whether prescription treatment is appropriate for you. It is not a one-size plan. Some patients do best with a GLP-1 medication such as semaglutide or tirzepatide; for others an appetite suppressant, or no medication at all, is the better answer.

We track progress with an InBody body composition scan rather than the scale alone, because the goal is to lose fat and keep muscle. That matters more on GLP-1 medication, where appetite drops quickly and protein intake often falls with it.

How visits work from Laguna Hills

The clinic is about two miles from Laguna Hills, at 24002 Via Fabricante in Mission Viejo. Suite 201 is on the second floor with lift access, and parking is free at the door. Appointments run Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM.

Your first visit is in person. After that, many check-ins can be done by telehealth, available anywhere in California, and you come in when an in-person visit adds something, such as a follow-up body composition scan.
