- Day 10–14: Peak effect. This is when we book the touch-up call if needed.
- Month 3–4: Effect starts wearing off. Most patients book again at month 3.

How fast is the drive from Lake Forest?
Five to eight minutes from central Lake Forest, ten to fourteen from Foothill Ranch or Portola Hills. The 5 south at Crown Valley is the standard route.
Do you have evening appointments after school pickup?
Yes. Tuesday and Thursday evenings run until 7 PM. Many patients book a 5:30 or 6:00 PM slot, get treatment in 15 minutes, and are home for dinner.
Saturday hours?
Saturday 9 AM to 2 PM. Saturdays book up roughly two weeks out, so plan ahead if that is your only available window.
Can I bring my kids to the appointment?
If you have no alternative, yes. The waiting area is suitable for school-age kids with a tablet. The injection itself is 5–10 minutes. For a first visit, we recommend coming alone if possible because the consult portion is longer and we want your full attention.
Is there any downtime I should plan around?
No real downtime. Avoid the gym, saunas, hot yoga, and laying flat for facials for the first 24 hours. Everything else is normal. School pickup and grocery shopping are fine.
I have never had Botox. Should I start small?
Almost always yes. For first-timers we recommend treating just one or two areas at a conservative dose, then evaluating at the two-week mark. You can always add. You cannot subtract.
