Holding the result over the following years
Treated fat cells are cleared and do not regenerate, which is often summarised as the result being permanent. That is true of those cells and misleading as a description of your body, because the cells that remain retain their ability to enlarge.
What this means practically is that the treated area will generally hold its improved proportion relative to the rest of you, but the whole picture shifts if overall weight rises.
